I toss the sheet away, revealing just how ready I am to slip inside her pussy. To claim her as my own like I’ve wanted to do since the moment I first saw her through that living room window.

  She gasps.

“Don’t worry, babe. My dick was made for you. It’ll fit.”

There in the doorway, Emma sheds her clothes slowly. Allowing me to watch her undress. She keeps her eyes locked on me, not the least bit shy about her body. I love her confidence. I love her curves. I slowly pump my cock as she watches to show her what she’s doing to me.

“We shouldn’t be interrupted anymore,” Emma says.

  “Good.”

She struts to the bed, stopping at the foot of it. I can think of dozens of different ways I want to take her. A few of which are in the plans for later tonight. But right now, I want her on top. Rocking her gorgeous body on top of me.

  “Climb on up, babe.”

Emma kneels on the bed, and I catch her staring at my cock. Her eyes drench with desire. She crawls on top of me until her knees are on either side of my hips. She sits down, her pussy just out of reach, and circles my dick with her hand. She takes over pumping my cock. “I’m on the pill,” she tells me. “Clean, too.”

“I’m clean.” I practically growl the words, knowing what permission they give us. I’ve never not worn a condom with a woman, but tonight I couldn’t imagine one between us. I want to feel her hot, wet walls envelope my dick completely.

Emma shimmies her hips until my cock meets her wet folds, rubbing her juices on my length. Priming me for entering her sweet pussy.

“Ooh babe, you’re so damn wet.”

“It’s what you do to me.” She hovers over me, those bountiful tits swinging in my face. I take a nipple into my mouth as she sinks onto my cock. Slowly taking me in. Filling herself with my length.

I’ve never been much for the sentimental, but fuck me, this feels like something more than sex. This feels like love.

With one hand, I help guide her hips in their rocking motion. Everything about her feels so damn good. I divide my attention equally between her tits as she rotates herself on top of me. Grinding against me. Sliding my cock in and out, in and out.

Our pace increases over time, but neither of us is in a rush for this to be over.

“You feel so good,” Emma purrs, her eyes falling shut. Her long hair cascades down her back as she leans back. The moonlight gives me the most erotic view of her beautiful curves. I could come just staring at her like this. It takes all my self-control not to let myself go.

I reach my hand between her legs, fingering her clit as she continues to rock. Emma lets out a long, sexy moan.

  “Come for me, babe.”

She grinds into me harder. I rock my hips faster. Urgency builds.

Emma is the first to cry out as her pussy convulses on my dick. I try to hold out just a few moments longer, but I can’t. It feels too damn good. I explode inside her depths. Uniting us as one. “I hope you know,” I say with a pant as Emma collapses on top of me, “that you are forever my girl now, Emma. Mine and nobody else’s.”

  EMMA

Easton’s words shake me to the core. Forever my girl. I don’t dare to let myself believe them, no matter how sincere they sound or how badly I want them to be true. I’m not sure I’m ready to trust someone again with my whole heart.

But when I am, I can’t imagine letting anyone else in other than Easton Ryan.

I roll off of him and lie on my back, staring at the ceiling until the stars behind my eyes fade away. That orgasm was powerful. My toes are tingling from it.

“Wow,” Easton says, lifting his arm and pulling me tight against him.

“Wow is right,” I agree as I rest my head on that warm chest of steel.

“I meant what I said, Emma.”

I hold my breath, waiting for him to elaborate. Because I’m not about to ask what he’s referring to. “Oh yeah?”

“I’m going to help you fix this place up.”

Oh that. “I can’t pay you, Easton. You saw the budget. I can’t even afford half of what I need, much less anything I really want.” I spent three hours yesterday searching for online coupon codes—which was the only thing my distracted mind could handle. But the search turned up too little results.

“You don’t have to pay me. That’s not why I’m helping you.” Easton rolls up to a sitting position, taking me with him. “C’mon. We have dinner waiting for us.”

I start to gather my clothes until I notice Easton walking down my hallway stark naked. Naked dinner it is.

“Why are you helping me then?” I ask once we reach the couch. I dare to sit closer to him than before, wondering if the food will be forever neglected. My breathing is still uneven, but my tingling pussy is already begging for more action.

“It’s an instinct,” he says, reaching for a box of beef and broccoli to add to a plate. “I can’t really explain it, Emma. But I know I’m supposed to. I want to. This is your forever home, like you said. I want to help you make that dream a reality.”

  “But your brothers—”

“They don’t have to know right now.” Easton turns and looks at me. “We do everything together. Even when one of us picks up a side job, we coordinate everything together. I’m not ready to tell them I’m doing this for free. I know they’ll try to talk me out of it.” There’s more to it than that, but I don’t pry. I can sense that now is not the time. “So let’s keep this between us for right now, okay?”

I nod, unable to argue. Who would I tell anyway but Amber?

Easton takes one bite of his food before he notices my inability to stare at anything but his cock. Even half-hard it’s massive. “I can’t believe you fit inside me,” I say in a sheepishly quiet voice, feeling suddenly shy now that we’re sitting on the couch eating dinner instead of tumbling in my bed in the moonlight.

“It fits like a glove, Emma. Doesn’t get more meant to be than that.”

Shivers flood my entire body despite my best efforts not to take the words to heart. We only just met a few days ago. We hardly know each other. It feels so fast. Too soon. Yet, my heart is pounding loud enough in my ears to drown out everything my brain is trying to tell me.

“Emma, you keep looking at my dick like that, we’ll never get any dinner.”

  “Why not?” I tease.

He pounces on me this time, pinning me to the couch. Abandoning his plated dinner as he kisses me hard on the mouth. His cock nudges my center, pushing its way inside me. Right where it belongs. As he fills me up, I can’t help but think that this is how it was always supposed to be.

Easton pounds into me hard. I lift my hips to meet him thrust for thrust, incredibly turned on by this animalistic side that has taken over the both of us.

“Tell me you feel it too, Emma,” Easton orders, staring into my eyes so deeply I swear the man can see all my secrets. “Tell me, Emma.”

“I—I do. I—” A long moan interrupts my words temporarily. “I feel it too.”

There on my living room couch, I let Easton take me over the edge yet again. I let go of my fears and inhibitions. I invite in the possibility that maybe he’s right. Maybe what’s happening between us is something more powerful than either of us can understand, but we can’t deny it.

  EMMA

  I could marry Easton Ryan.

That dangerous thought has been bouncing around in my mind all weekend long. We haven’t known each other very long, but it feels like we’ve never been apart. Like he’s always been in my life, even before I met him.

In between our romps in my bed, on the couch, and well … in every room, Easton has helped me accomplish more on my house this weekend than my ex did the entire time we owned it together. We’ve completed all the demo needed, got rid of the tacky green wall paper, and even replaced the doorbell.

“Try it out,” Easton said with a nudge to the front door.

First, I give him a kiss intended to be quick
. But all of those have turned long and sultry. Some have resulted in a loss of clothes. All have offered a promise of the next round to come. Dare I believe a promise of our future together.

I skitter to the front door before my clothes disappear yet again. I push the new doorbell, happy to hear a chime that doesn’t make my ears bleed or small children cry.

  “You’re amazing, Easton!”

“Nah, just know my way around a doorbell. That’s all.” Among Easton’s many great qualities is humility. “Why don’t you go put on some clothes appropriate for public,” he adds with a wink. “I want to show you the extra supplies I have in my shed. See if anything in there might work for your house. But I need you a little less revealed in case one of my brothers shows up unexpectedly.”

I kiss him again, wriggling my hips into his just because I can. “Be right back.”

Today is the first time I’ve smiled fishing through totes of clothes for something to wear. Because Easton has promised that this week we’ll get my closet assembled just the way I want it. I’m extra excited, because that little project will give me the opportunity to offer him his own closet space.

I don’t exactly what the future holds for us, but I know it’s something good.

The doorbell chimes again. I wonder if it’s Easton hinting to hurry up or just happy with the new pleasant-sounding doorbell he installed. I finish changing into something more appropriate but still very form-fitting. He’s confessed on several occasions how much he loves all of my curves.

“Coming!” I call down the hall once I’m dressed.

But when I reach the living room, I don’t see Easton.

  “Easton?”

I hear the low rumble of voices outside and my eyes grow wide. I hope it’s not Amber, out there acting like a protective mama bear—aka embarrassing the hell out of me. Sometimes I have to remind her that just because I’m the youngest doesn’t mean I’m not an adult.

I creep toward the open window besides the front door, but before I can announce myself, the conversation stops me.

“I thought we talked about this, man,” a male voice says to Easton. “You weren’t going to take this one on. There’s no profit in it.”

  “I don’t care about that.”

“We run all of our side projects through the group.”

“You mean you,” Easton barks back at who I assume is one of the other Ryan brothers. I’m too stunned to do anything but listen and try to assemble the pieces together.

“I mean you’re not supposed to be taking on side projects for some piece of ass when we need all of your energy on the Mills Street house.”

Piece of ass? My eyes narrow daggers at the brother who dared belittle what Easton and I have. I’m half a second from flying out that front door with fists flying before Easton speaks up and stops me.

“It’s not what you think, Flint. Emma means more to me than that.” It feels like my heart actually smiles in my chest. “I’ll see you all tomorrow. On time. This won’t get in the way of our current flipper.”

“We need you now. I know it’s your weekend off, but foundation’s leaking in one corner. We need your expertise. If it’s as bad as Levi thinks, we might be better off bulldozing the house than trying to save it.”

  “I’m busy today—"

“With her? Don’t pretend this is anything more than the last girl you hooked up with in exchange for some handy work. Get your shit and get over to the other house.” Flint storms off toward a second Ryan Brothers Renovations truck, leaving my heart to plummet to the floor. The last girl?

Easton lets out a breath so heavy I hear his angry sigh through the window. I jump back seconds before he tears through the door.

“Emma.” His voice is much gentler than it was outside. “Did you hear—”

It’s too late to keep my composure. Tears have already stung my eyes and escaped onto my cheeks. I was foolish enough to think the two of us were staring something real together. Foolish enough to think that I found the man I should’ve married in the first place. “Go, Easton.”

  “Emma, let me explain—”

“Just go. Don’t bother coming back.”

  EASTON

I could punch Flint for the scene he created outside Emma’s house. After I determine that the leaky foundation is not as expensive to rectify as Levi feared, that becomes my only mission. I storm the current flipper in search of Flint, fists clenched at my sides.

  “Hey,” Duke says to me.

I ignore him and press on, stomping up the stairs to the second floor.

“Easton,” Duke calls. “Don’t do anything stupid.”

I find Flint in a guest bedroom, standing near an open window measuring the wall. “Don’t worry,” I call back down to Duke though he’s already halfway up the stairs. “I won’t do anything too drastic. Even though pushing him out that second story window has its appeal.”

When Flint turns his head toward me, a mixture of annoyance and shock tangle his expression. “What the hell, man?”

“You had no right to show up to Emma’s house. How the hell did you even know I was there?”

“Her sister’s the realtor that keeps leaving us messages about forming an alliance. She told me all about your secret side project.”

I take two angry steps forward, but both Duke and Levi—wherever the hell he came from—hold me back. I love my brothers, but when we get mad at each other, it usually means someone’s out for blood. Or at least a bloody nose. “I’m in love with Emma.”

The entire room goes quiet. Flint slowly tilts his head, as if he’s seeing me for the first time. “You’re serious?”

  “Very.”

“Why didn’t you tell us about working at her house?” Duke asks. “You know the rules.”

“Because there’s no money in it. I didn’t want anyone to talk me out of it.” There’s so much more I could say about my gut and the pull I still feel now that I’m away from her. I was helpless to do anything but go to Emma Friday night.

“We don’t run your life, you know,” Levi adds. “If you want to help a friend, or whatever she is to you, that’s your business. We just need to know what else is on your plate so we can plan accordingly on our main project. Can’t have you showing up on no sleep on a day we have to redo wiring.”

A light chuckle echoes throughout the empty room, breaking the tension.

“You really love her?” Flint asks.

“Yes.” It might be too much to admit that I want to marry her. Even though Duke more or less pulled the same stunt a few months back with his now wife. “Very much.”

Flint crosses the room and claps me on the back. “Then I guess we better go fix this.”

  EMMA

“Did you bring wine?” I bark at my sister the second she steps inside my house. “Tell me you brought wine.”

“I brought wine,” she said with hesitation in her voice. “But you’re a little scary right now. I don’t think you should have any.”

I march across the kitchen until I’m two inches from her face. “Give. Me. The. Bottle.”

She shoves the chardonnay from the other night at my chest. “What’s gotten into you?” Amber takes a step back and assesses all the changes inside the house. “You and Easton sure got a lot done. I didn’t expect—”

“Didn’t expect what? That he was actually working and not just screwing me the whole time?” I know I sound like a bitchy brat right now, but I don’t care. Staying angry is the only way I’m keeping the tears at bay. I’m done crying over any man. Ever again. “Where’s my sledgehammer?”

“Oh no, no, no!” Amber darts across the kitchen to the hammer I left propped against the fridge. I race her for it. Our hands wrap around the handle at the same time.

“Give it to me!” I yell.

  “No!”

  “Ladies, ladies!”

We freeze, both turning our heads over our shoulders at the same time. “What is going on here?”
/>   I hate how seeing Easton makes my heart race and butterflies tumble in my stomach. I shouldn’t feel this way about him if I’m just some sidepiece he’ll tire of once the project is finished. But I do anyway.

“Help me,” Amber pleads, nodding at the sledgehammer. “She’s a weapon with this thing.”

Easton moves across the kitchen in a flash, relieving Amber. “Emma, can we please talk?”

I tighten my grip around my hammer. “What are you doing here?” I demand through gritted teeth. “Shouldn’t you be out looking for your next hook-up with a broken-down house?”

“I think I should clear something up,” another male voice calls from the other end of the kitchen. I peek around Easton’s muscular arms and find the man from earlier. Flint, I think his name is. “That was only one time, like two years ago. It wasn’t fair of me to say that about my brother. He’s a solid guy. I swear it.”

“Emma, please let go of the sledgehammer.”

  “Why?”

“So I can ask you to marry me without fear of getting bashed over the head.”

“Marry—” My fingers slowly unclench from the handle and it clatters against the fridge.

Easton takes my hand and gets down on one knee. “I know it’s fast, Emma. But you can’t deny what’s happening between us anymore than I can. It’s powerful. It’s love. It’s fate. Please say you’ll make me the happiest man in the room and marry me?”

It takes a minute for reality to catch up to me. For words to form in my tongue-tied mouth. “Are you sure about this?”

“I love you, Emma Benson. If you’ll have me, I want us to finish your forever home together. Maybe let it be our forever home.”

I throw my arms around Easton’s neck and squeeze tight as he lifts to his feet. My toes can’t touch the ground, so I wrap my legs around his waist instead. “Yes, I will marry you.” I kiss him hard on the mouth. Our tongues tangle. My nipples tighten. I feel him harden against me. Will I always want him this badly? I sure hope so.
